Our story
After 26 years in the corporate world, I tried retirement for a couple years but was soon needing more to do. When a friend decided to retire from her dog walking company (I was helping her out now and then) I decided to combine my lifelong love affair with all animals great and small, have-to-stay busy personality, management and business skills and desire to help people, and opened this business in July of 2017.
Ironically our granddaughter was born at the same time, so being hands on grandparents and the wonderful growth we are blessed with in our business has kept us more than busy and we love it! Brian has always had my back in my different endeavors, and is my CFO, handling accounts receivable and payables for Paws.
Over the years we have been fortunate to have incredible people on our team. Some have been with us for the long hall (Doug worked with me at the first company and stayed all these years) and some have joined us more recently. They are all incredible people with a sincere love of animals and an unfailingly commitment to the safety, care and happiness of your pets.
My lifelong love of learning serves me well as I continue to study and increase my knowledge to serve you and your pets. I’ve earned my CPPS (Certified Professional Pet Sitter) certification as well as being pet first aid certified and continue taking courses through professional memberships such as Pet Sitters Associates and Pet Sitters International.
